I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples and adolescents. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I have worked in counseling centers, schools and, for the past 10 years, in private practice. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I AM CURRENTLY SEEING PATIENTS THROUGH VIDEO OR PHONE SESSIONS.
MY APPROACH
My style is thoughtful, warm and engaged. I draw from the rich traditions of psychoanalytic thought, attachment theory and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
I believe that the therapy room should be a place where you can express your thoughts and feelings and gain insight into some of the unconscious sources of your conflicts. With warmth and curiosity, I will provide an attentive ear and a thoughtful mind. Together we can create a collaborative space wherein you can bring yourself more fully.
My therapeutic approach can be helpful in addressing a wide range of experiences, including, but not limited to,
- interpersonal relationships
- depression and loneliness
- anxiety, phobias and panic attacks
- couples therapy
- creative development
- sexuality
- disordered eating or body issues
- early or recent trauma
- life transitions
- substance issues
- identity and personal growth
- gender exploration and transition support
